We got to feel the tail of a beluga whale—that’s where the vets take blood samples. I got to touch the beluga whales and feed them fish. There was no fence or anything separating us—we kneeled down right next to them. They felt rubbery, but different than the dolphins. One of them squirted us, and one blew kisses.
